Youth Camp

JULY 24th- 31st, 2022

Alongside Family Camp, YOUTH CAMP is a week-long residential camp for grades 7 – 12.

A camping program for youth, grades 7 – 12, providing a variety of experiences within a wholesome Christian environment. This includes instruction in practical Christianity, worship services for inspiration and Christian commitment, recreational programs, opportunities for self-expression, and a variety of experiences with other youth who share their Christian values.  We strive to help every camper discover how they can live out the “fruits of the Holy Spirit” (Galatians 5:22-23) — on a daily basis, demonstrating these “fruits” in the way they treat and respect their fellow campers, their counselors, other staff members and ultimately their families and friends.

Youth Dean & Special Speaker
Quinton Cook
Dean of Youth

Quinton (or Q as most of the youth call him), was born and raised on a dairy farm in Ortonville, MI. That farm is owned and operated by Quinton and the Cook family called Cook’s Farm Dairy.  Ice cream making, cow care, and field work are everyday jobs that have instilled in him a hard work ethic, strong faith, and love for family.  Quinton was brought to camp around the age of five with his two siblings by his grandma.  He hasn’t missed a camp week since; growing up through the children and youth programs, counseling the youth, and now leading the youth as of 2017.  It’s his favorite place on the planet and it’s where he first surrendered his life to Christ as a young teen.

Pastor Leo Robinson
Daily Evangelist

We are excited to welcome back Pastor Leo Robinson this summer!  By using comedy and life illustrations, Pastor Leo has travelled across the country speaking the same language to today’s culture.  After attending Central Michigan University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Development, Leo was called to serve as Lead Campus Pastor of the now GOOD Church, previously known as Holbrook Avenue Church of God in Flint, MI.  Even though Flint has been named one of the most violent cities in the country, Leo and his wife feel that there is no better time and place to be in ministry, in this so-called dying city.  He believes ministry starts at home, while he and his wife “Mio” make it a priority to lead their family of four in confidence according to God’s Plan.
