Friday July 25th - Evening Service
On Friday July 25th, Simpson Park Camp welcomes Dr. Luther Oconer and Rev. Dr. Scott Pattison as our invited guests. Scott Pattison is the current Conference Superintendent for the Global Methodist Church, while Luther Oconer is an Associate Professor of Global Wesleyan Theology at Asbury Seminary. They will speak to how God is calling the new movement of Global Methodists to boldly make disciples of Jesus Christ who spread scriptural holiness. The Great Lakes Annual Conference of the Global Methodist Church is entering a time of Strategic Planning, of which the book “Hero Maker” is central. A major theme in this book is boldly making followers of Christ through the practice of Multiplication, which is the intentional practice of equipping and empowering new disciples to actively go out and make followers of Jesus Christ. They will be sharing this message with us and we are excited for you to join us.
